Full-Service Care

Whatever your home needs. Done to standard.

Some jobs need containment and tear-out. Some need a whole-home treatment. Most need both. No one else does this — and this is why we have such exceptional and comprehensive results. We do it on every job, then finish with a lab result you can read.

Assessment-led scope

We work from your assessor’s report and remediation plan, and we quote against the plan. No assessment yet? We can arrange an independent NYS-licensed assessor.

Containment and negative air

Poly barriers with zippered entries, sealed HVAC registers and HEPA-filtered negative-air machines keep the work inside the work area.

Removal and disposal

Water-damaged drywall, insulation, carpet and wood come out, double-bagged and disposed of properly. What stays is HEPA-vacuumed and cleaned.

Whole-home VaPURE™ treatment

Our patented vapor system treats all surfaces, penetrating hard-to-reach spaces, and all the air in your home — not just the places you can see. The result is a comprehensive treatment and measurably cleaner, healthier indoor air. The active component of the sterilant is on the EPA’s Safer Chemical Ingredients List.

Protectant and moisture control

An antimicrobial protectant inhibits future mold growth on treated surfaces. We correct the moisture source or tell you who should, because remediation without moisture control does not hold.

Independent lab verification

Air and surface samples go to an accredited third-party lab before and after. You get a written before-and-after report.

Our Services

Our services.

From testing to comprehensive mold remediation services to odor and disinfection — every job is delivered with VaPURE™ vapor technology, and third-party lab accountability.

Our Toolbelt

The right tools, in the right order.

Mold remediation takes more than one tool. It takes the right tools in the right order, and the judgment to know which ones the job needs. Here is what we bring, and what each part is for.

  • Assessment and moisture mapping: find the water, size the job
  • Containment and negative air: keep the work inside the work area
  • Removal and HEPA cleaning: out with the water-damaged material
  • Whole-home VaPURE™ vapor: treats cross-contamination beyond the containment
  • Antimicrobial protectant: inhibits future mold growth on treated surfaces
  • Third-party lab verification: a written before-and-after report
Our Process

How a job runs.

Six steps, in the same order every time. New York separates assessment from remediation, so most jobs start with someone else’s report. Send it over and we quote against the plan.

01

Assess and scope

On projects over 10 square feet, New York law requires a licensed assessor to write the assessment and remediation plan, and a separately licensed contractor to carry out the work. Already have a plan? Send it over. If you don’t, we can arrange an independent NYS-licensed assessor.

02

Contain

Poly barriers with zippered entries, sealed HVAC registers and HEPA-filtered negative-air machines. The crew works in respirators and suits.

03

Remove and clean

Water-damaged porous materials are cut out, double-bagged and disposed of. Framing and hard surfaces are HEPA-vacuumed and damp-wiped, with HEPA air scrubbers running throughout.

04

Treat the whole home

We provide comprehensive mold remediation to industry standards, and our patented VaPURE™ technology, with positive air pressure, disperses our sterilant vapor to reach the places mold and bacteria lurk, treating issues on contact.

05

Protect and fix the cause

An antimicrobial protectant is applied to treated surfaces to inhibit future mold growth. We correct the moisture source or tell you who should, because remediation without moisture control does not hold.

06

Verify with the lab

Fresh air samples go back to the same accredited third-party lab, and the assessor completes clearance where the law requires it. You get a written before-and-after report.

Particle Comparison

Why particle size matters.

NY Mold & Clean Air Solutions VaPURE™Patented
7.5μm
Smaller is better. Our VaPURE™ vapor particle is 1/20th the size of a conventional spray droplet, small enough to behave like a gas and reach the void spaces, ducts and porous materials that removal alone leaves behind.
The Science

Why we finish every job with vapor.

Removal takes out the materials the water damaged. It cannot reach the spores that have already spread into void spaces, porous surfaces and the HVAC system. That is the stage the vapor handles.

  • 1
    Safer Chemical Ingredients List.

The active component of the sterilant is on the EPA's Safer Chemical Ingredients List, and it breaks down into acetic acid, oxygen and water.

  • 2
    Gas-phase behavior.

At 7.5μm, the vapor disperses through the home like air, reaching cavities and surfaces that liquid sprays cannot.

  • 3
    Whole-home treatment.

Treats mold on surfaces and in the air throughout the property.

The Evidence

Independent research. Read it for yourself.

The VaPURE™ technology we use has been studied outside the industry. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ran a six-month field test, independent laboratories tested the chemistry, and a technical white paper explains the physics. All three are linked below.

Why the Pure Maintenance mold remediation and vapor decontamination is so effective

A technical explainer of the three variables behind the vapor stage: 7.5μm particle size, phase change, and dwell time. Together they let the treatment behave like a gas rather than a liquid.

Health-Centered Remediation

Health-centered remediation for sensitive households.

Some households need more than standard visible-mold cleanup. We offer health-centered, CIRS-aware remediation designed for mold-sensitive and environmentally sensitized clients, aligned with NORMI Medically-Sound Level 4 Protocol™ principles. It is built around containment, source control, detailed cleaning, and verification, and it supports physician-led environmental health plans by addressing the indoor environment. Medically informed remediation, not medical treatment.

A note on scope

NY Mold & Clean Air Solutions does not diagnose, treat, or cure CIRS, mold illness, asthma, allergies, or any medical condition. We work on the indoor environment and can coordinate with licensed assessors, physicians, and other professionals when appropriate.
