Our Story

Our mold story is personal.

Our mold story is personal. It began when our family experienced a wide range of health issues — including brain fog, memory loss, chronic sinusitis, pain, anxiety, panic attacks, digestive issues, and nervous system dysregulation. It took us years to realize that mold exposure in our environment was the major underlying root cause.

With more than 25 years of construction experience and over six years as a holistic health coach and wellness center owner, we’ve worked with thousands of clients — and many experiencing similar health concerns. We came to realize that mold and the indoor environment were a major health concern for countless people.

Greg’s unique combination of building expertise and our passion for health became the foundation of our work today: addressing mold and indoor air quality issues, with the health of the people living and working in those spaces always at the center of what we do.

For clients who are mold-sensitive or environmentally sensitized, we run a more detailed protocol. See how health-centered remediation works.

A note on scope

NY Mold & Clean Air Solutions does not diagnose, treat, or cure CIRS, mold illness, asthma, allergies, or any medical condition. We work on the indoor environment and can coordinate with licensed assessors, physicians, and other professionals when appropriate.

Meet the Team

Westchester County's dedicated mold specialists.

A local, certified team working across Westchester County and the Hudson Valley.

How we work

Every job starts with the assessment. We scope against the assessor's report and remediation plan, set up containment and negative air, cut out the water-damaged materials that have to go, and HEPA-clean the surfaces that stay. Then we treat the whole property with VaPURE™ vapor, because spores travel through a house long before anyone opens a wall. The company is built around the gap between conventional mold remediation and what sensitized occupants often need.

We fix or refer the moisture problem that started it, since remediation without moisture control does not hold. An accredited third-party lab tests the property at the end, and you get the before-and-after report in writing.

Already holding an assessment report and remediation plan? Send it over. We quote against the plan and follow it. The evidence behind the vapor stage is published in full.

Why people choose us

  • Back in the same evening — the active component of the VaPURE™ sterilant is on the EPA's Safer Chemical Ingredients List and breaks down into acetic acid, oxygen and water. Most families are back in the house the same evening.
  • Done to standard — NYS Licensed Mold Remediation Contractor, NORMI certified, fully insured. Containment, PPE, disposal and documentation handled the way the standards require.
  • Lab-verified — an accredited third-party lab samples the property before and after. You see the numbers, not our opinion of them.
  • Straight answers — if your home does not need remediation, we say so. If the job turns out bigger than we quoted, you hear it before the work starts.
The Vapor Stage

How we finish a job.

Once the removal work is done, we treat the whole property with the patented VaPURE™ vapor system we are licensed to use. It treats mold on surfaces and in the air, and reaches most of the small spaces removal alone leaves behind. The active component of the sterilant is on the EPA's Safer Chemical Ingredients List, and it breaks down into acetic acid, oxygen and water.

  • Treats mold on surfaces and in the air
  • Penetrates wall cavities, HVAC, and porous materials
  • Active component on the EPA's Safer Chemical Ingredients List
  • Containment and removal where it is needed, whole-home treatment throughout, and you are usually back the same evening
